Therefore, AI leverages machines and computers to imitate the decision-making and problem-solving capabilities of the human brain.
Several real-world applications of AI systems exist, such as customer service and automatic speech recognition, which processes human speech into a written format. Many industries, including sales, use AI to streamline processes and provide better products or services. In sales, AI helps predict which clients are most likely to buy, optimizes deals and product prices according to the market, and helps companies keep track of sales performance.
Sales representatives may delegate some tasks to an AI tool to help them use their time better and close more deals. AI can assist the sales team in arranging important emails and setting the workflow by using a template. Additionally, AI can serve as an assistant to automate repetitive tasks, such as scheduling meetings, inputting data, and performing complicated activities that require no personal relationships, such as sales forecasting. AI can create accurate forecasts based on previous sales outcomes and customer contacts.
One of the big challenges in the daily life of a sales representative is deciding what to do next concerning a contact. AI can create more accurate customer profiles that help representatives choose between scheduling a meeting, sending a reminder email, connecting with a team member, or something else. In the future, AI likely will replace sales jobs that require basic problem-solving skills, simple written or verbal communication, or basic functional knowledge of the product. However, AI still struggles to solve complex problems and have strategic conversations based on human relations.
